QA for Engineering and Economic Simulation Software for Oil & Gas

We began by learning software that was already in production and had numerous users. This meant the testing cycles started with revisions of enterprise software already in production. We developed and executed test cases for all of the features and functionalities. When new features were developed, we participated in the design, and performed the testing and quality assurance. Our aims were to: 1. Have the best tools to measure software quality. 2. Reduce software failures to improve the user experience. 3. Improve the Quality Assurance process. 4. Accelerate the development time. We made a map of the modules, making it possible to size the system and divide it by functionalities and aims. We ranked the test cases by priority and testing needs. By doing this, we enabled the client to know the quality of the isolated functionalities to be tested, and the development team could work alongside us responding to priorities.
